The Grandma’s cottage is a winterized cottage with all conveniences for all year-round use. It is a red cottage with white trimmings. It has a cozy kitchen, a bedroom for 3-5 persons and a wood-fired stove, which keeps the cottage warm even in the middle of the winter. The kitchen and the bedroom are the old parts of the cottage and gives the whole cottage a snug atmosphere. The cottage is enlarged with sauna, shower, toilet and a loft for 2-3 persons. Outside the cottage is a spacious terrace.
Please be aware that the Grandma’s cottage is in the middle of the village Söderby and not by the sea.
The cottage in the middle of the island Suur-Pellinki
The location of Grandma’s cottage next to a homestead is ideal for becoming familiar with life in the small village Söderby in the Finnish archipelago. The beach, as well as the viable village store Söderby-Boden are close to the cottage. Neither is the forest, where mushrooms can be picked, far away. Rent a bicycle and make trips in the scenic Pellinki (in Swedish Pellinge). A nice beach, a cafeteria andsummer market are 5 km apart. You can also visit S:t Olof’s chapelon the neighbour island. On the island there is a thematic adventure for those who want to walk in the footsteps of Tove Jansson and the Moomins and solving riddles at the same time. THE TENANT UNDERTAKES TO
- look after the cottages and their inventories
- account for and inform of any damages or results of any destructive events
- tidy up the cabins before departure and put the waste in the waste bin outside
- return the key as agreed
Smoking inside the cottage is prohibited.
PETS
Pets are allowed, inform in connection with booking
- Dogs must be kept on a leash at all times
- no pets are allowed in bedrooms
- Fee for pets 10 €/day/pet
